Learn It. Lead It. Live It
This Leadership Academy convening focused on spreading awareness through community-driven action and meaningful dialogue. Students explored an important community issue—why it matters, how it affects others, and what their group can do to make a difference through service and leadership. The session featured a special guest speaker, Ms. Ragini Srivastava, Town Clerk of North Hempstead, who was recently re-elected to her second term. She shared her personal leadership journey, public service experiences, and commitment to community engagement. Students were highly engaged throughout the discussion, listening attentively and asking thoughtful questions that reflected their growing understanding of leadership, civic responsibility, and impact.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Srivastava for taking the time to inspire our students, share her experiences in public service, and encourage the next generation of community leaders.
